if you have to ask where to find the ECU you should probably not be installing your SAFCII. not because the installation is that complicated or anything, but screwing with your tune can do a lot of damage if you dont know what you are doing. i wouldnt be changing any settings until you can get it on the dyno and find somebody to tune it for you.

i installed my SAFC myself and i didnt even know what ECU look like. not to mention how scared i was when i saw all those damn wires lol.. just needed a little help and comfirmation once in a while just to make sure. hell i only knew how to change oil. but we encourage people to do things on their own because i remember i was pissed when somebody told me if you cant install a SAFC yourself you shouldnt install any of the turbo kit yourself. but now i truley understand...you gotta start somewhere

just make sure your connections are nice and direct. i used crimp connectors myself but i dont reccomend it. if i had to do it again i would solder

well u will be fine installin that safc. i suggest just having someone there to confirm that ur looking at the wiring diagram correctly. the sticky has a GREAT pin out and wire diagram for our cars. it will make that SAFC install a breeze.

good luck on the safc II I just installed mine about 5 days ago but i have not been able to test it out since I am putting the turbo on and i am waiting for a flange to come in the mail. It is really easy to install.

lol. i remember wondering where the computer was when I was about to install my safc. I just opened up the fsm and looked for it in there though.

installing it is a piece of cake, just check and double check and triple check the pinout diagram so you dont make a mistake.
