Is there any way to recirculate a bov on the stock intake piping? :picard: I have an HKS bov laying around that I have been meaning to put on for a while.

No, you'd have to replace the intake pipe and have the flange welded on the hot side for the bov.

Got it taken care of. I mounted up my HKS ssq and decided to vent it to the atmosphere to see if it would work without any issues. Well, tried it out this morning and AFR looks good, does not go lean or stumble, and it idles great like before. So, I guess I'll just leave it like it is. I wonder if it is because the HKS bov is a "dual stage" bov? Anyone know? In any case, thanks for the comments anyway.

From what I've read, it's just luck of the draw venting to atmosphere lol if t works, leave it be, but there are arguments that recirculating does have advantages over venting

There are also cons to recirculating as well. Don't worry about it too much. If it works, enjoy the sound of mice being stepped on everytime you let go of the throttle, LOL!

Or, if you have an OEM sr20det intake turbo pipe, there is a port made for the OEM BOV recirculation ;)

Yea, took a look the other day when I installed the HKS bov and it seems that I in fact do have an OEM SR20det intake pipe on there. I really did not ever bother to check before I posted this, so yea, I'm retarded.
