was wondering how much in rough estimate, would a rb25 or rb26 swap be in a 98 240sx or if its even possible? if not how much the motor itself would cost? thanx

rough estimate of about 8,000 for a BPU RB25 at my shop.

rough estimate of about 10-11,000 for a BPU RB26 in my shop.

Those are rough guesses, when my shop opens the prices may be higher or lower. : )

pretty expensive but itll be worth it in the long run hey thanx for the help. when does your shop open by the way??? i will be willoing to make the drive p thier if you can do i . just keep me posted if poissible. I should be getting my last settlement in the next coupl of weeks, Hopefully

I'll be open in the beginning of October. In order to get an engine in for you I'll need a months notice as its not a regularly stocked engine due to its cost and its extreme rarity. Theres only 2-3 RB25 swaps in the nation, and no RB26 swaps. ( I'll have one shortly )

Hey I live in Ottawa and I am heading to Tokyo this winter and picking some stuff up and bringing it back. I would like to either get a R32 GT-R or a 180SX and swap in the RB26DETT. What do you think. Either way I am having the car tuned and built over there while I am there for two weeks. Can't wait to see you at the shows...

um i know of one person who had succesfully swaped the rb26dett into a rps13 it was a full out race car thou i do not know many details on it butt one thing is he later was killed in the same cr on the florida turnpike R.I.P 240guy
