bolts in but wiring is a pain. With the cost of install and motorset you can have 2 redtops.

Also, bear in mind that when you buy a JDM engine, from MOST places anyway, the transmission comes with it.

The S15 SR comes with that 6spd, and it's not nearly as strong as the 5spd on the other engines.

This is the case because (or so I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong):

It's the same case as the 5spd, but it's got 6 fwd gears crammed in there, which thus have to be thinner to fit in the same case. I have no idea how easy/hard it is to adapt the 5spd to that engine, and honestly I can't see the S15's touch of extra power being anywhere near worth the trouble.

pretty easy install. most srs are easy to install

yeah you can get 2 redtops for the price of 1 s15 clip, paint the redtops black or silver lol you'll fool most people haha. put a cf spark plug cover too you'll look all rich. for the price of a s15 blacktop it might be better buying a red top and using thh eat money to build it up with some nice aftermarket parts. get a crankshaft, piston set, connecting rods from like toda or something. or you could just build the head.

with the S15 motor you get the variable valve timing bs, 6-speed, 480cc injectors, and ball bearing turbo. Might get some other cool stuff too. I can see spending that much on little stuff like that. why not get the red top with 550cc injectors, aftermarket ecu, gt28r and still have money to burn.
