Dumb question I know

From wax to washes, the Detailing Forum should be used for questions and ideas concerning exterior and interior cleaning and appearance

Ok this may sound dumb but how do you get your engine/engine bay so clean? I see lots of pics of peoples builds that have shiny engine bays. Do you have to hand wash and scrub most of it or is it safe to take a hose or low power pressure washer to your engine? My engine is a n/t but it does have an aem intake on it.

I pressure wash the engines but some people do hand wash them and scrub.
