dumb q45 question?

hey, sorry if this is a dumb question but im from the 240 forums but my cousin just got a 95 q45t and hes got some money. just wondering if they ever came with a manual 5spd transmission, which i dont think so, but if not is there any trannys that bolt up to it fine or anything. whats need to be done. thanks

Short answer -

Never came with a manual trans, and while it CAN be mated to a manual, the work involved will exceed the value of the car easily.

Unless you can do your own work, it would be a tough job... As much as I want a manual, a 5 speed auto might be a more workable solution... I have some ideas for a possible 6 speed auto..... and its actually feasible, and uses the stock RE4 transmission.....
