Yeah, in nametakennows thread, i can actually have one now if i wanted, a 91 240sx hatch, 5 spd, but like i said, my uncle just rebuilt it, he had promised me it, but he is always saying something of how much he loves the car, he didnt know about the tuning possibilities until i told him, which was probabl a mistake, i am just gonna wait for a 95 se 5spd, thats the one i want.

I wonder if that stuff is true for "The English language is not to be spoken" in Illinois.

I know this is not as stupid but in Virginia you can't put rims on your car that are more than 2" bigger than stock(so if your car came with 14's you can't put on anything bigger than 16's)

I like this one:

In Wyoming, you may not take a picture of a rabbit between January and April unless you have an official permit.

Here's a good one from FL:Having sexual relations with a porcupine is illegal.

Who'd have to pass a law like that??

Also I live in Tampa, and I don't believe some of them to be true.It is considered an offense to shower naked. You may not kiss your wife's breasts.

I think they are missing something...like its not legal to do this stuff in public.

But this one is totally true:Lap dances must be given at least six feet away from a patron.

I remember the debates and when they passed this one. At one point it was being enforced, but now no one seems to care!:boink :bshake

Its not on there, but in SC its illegal to drive without shoes on. I got stopped for speeding and he warned me about haveing my shoes off. I think i had a damn good excuse. The were covered in mud in the bed of my truck, I didnt want mud in my truck. But otherwise it would have been a $50 ticket.

I live in Kansas and we've got the shoe one too. I think one of the best ones on there for my state is this one, "If two trains meet on the same track, neither shall proceed until the other has passed", or what about not being able to shoot rabbits from motorboats? Damn! that ruins my whole weekend!

OK what's up w/ this ice cream law? "A person may not walk around on Sundays with an ice cream cone in his/her pocket."

"Women may go topless in public, providing it is not being used as a business."BUT"A fine of $25 can be levied for flirting. This old law specifically prohibits men from turning around on any city street and looking "at a woman in that way." A second conviction for a crime of this magnitude calls for the violating male to be forced to wear a "pair of horse-blinders" wherever and whenever he goes outside for a stroll."

DUH"The penalty for jumping off a building is death."

K, thanx for the bandwidth :P

If bloomberg can enforce this instead of raising taxes in NYC...

It is illegal for a woman to be on the street wearing "body hugging clothing."

agh, new term of "rubbernecking" since almost all of them are 'tite'

That's a law everywhere. And it is enforced occasionally. You are also not allowed to wear open-healed shoes while driving if I am correct. All of these things are actually safety hazards, and if you get into an accident without shoeson , there is a higher chance you'll be found at fault.

Ok, so this is something that everyone knows about. I was told it was a safety issue in drivers ed. Has anyone tried driving with no shoes? I have and its wierd! I don't recommend it because I don't feel like I have much control over the car. I did not know that there was a higher chance you would be found at fault if you have an accident though.

I have a friend who will never drive with shoes on for some reason. I prefer having shoes on, feels much better, have more control, and your feet don't get incredibly dirty. Same friend was in an accident (not his fault, old woman ran stop sign, he hit her, she paid for it), and he made sure to put on shoes before the police got there :P

I drive with my right shoe off - I can feel the brake and gas pedal better, and my sock is more stable on the pedal than a slippery leather sole of a dress shoe.

Come to think of it, WHO THE HELL CARES? I don't even know why I typed this... :D
