Dukes of Hazard S14 Doors (PLZ HELP)

I have have a stuck door on my 97 S14 The P/S door Lock/Latch no longer functions forcing my passenger to either enter my car on the wrong side or get in like the dukes of hazard. During the last I would say 8 months or more, I as well as many of my friends including a fab shop in town, have tried everything short of unbolting the door hinge and cutting it off.

I have searched here on Nico and on Zilvia for an answer to this seemingly common issue with no luck

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this or if the S13 latches will be similar enough to use if I end up cutting this thing open?

I would say no matter what you will have to tear into the door pannel to get to the hinge to manually open it. If I remember right, moso on here has some first hand experience with this problem.

I actually got the door panel off of the car and have access to the latching mechanism, I have messed /pryed on / opened pretty much everything with access to it that I can find on the box itself.

I have also looked pretty closely at another door latch on an S14 with the windows/inner door removed and cannot find away to release it without the normal latch spot working the action.

This thing is built like a freeking safe.
