mine took 6 months, but i did it myself, and completely restored the car with a bunch of other work also. between school, work, and other hobbies i cant really say it was 6 months of working on the car, more like 6 months of doing crap in the weeks between workin on the car while waiting for parts and dealing with various hold ups.

but the end product was well worth it.

update...the shop got the wrong ECU with the clip so it wasn't working..

I am giving them till Wednesday to get the job done... They will be getting the right ECU tom morning and get the job done by the evening but we are giving them till Wed. we'll see what happenes... I'm alright since I did save a lot of money on this swap by going with them.

Hey Ryan... IF your *** would have said you would help me with the swap I might have just done it at home... but you were too whiney and didn't have time! no biggie though... anyways... I'll be updating this thread tom after 12noon with more info on what is going on with the car.

BTW, the shop is RPM Motorworks in Anaheim.

Listen here little boy... You know I'm always down to do SR swaps, I would have done yours, but you "were getting an SR installed for less than it cost to buy one" plus I don't live by you. Also, with you moving and whatever, when would we have had time to work on the car?

I'm probably going to help out with or do Norm's S14 swap pretty soon, maybe, depends on my schedule.

haha... he doesn't like ot bend over for me..only for Briand and Bryan! :)

nah.. It's all good Ryan... I did get a good deal, but if I knew I would have had so many problems and would have to wait this long, I would have just waited till everything settled down and just did the swap at home.. but you can never predict the future.. so it's all good... all I can hope is that my car is done soon cuz I miss driving it... you kno...
