i was lookin on ebay for some dual tip mufflers and was wondering if and aftermarket dual tip muffler w/ 2.5" inlet and 3" out would give me a deeper sound...

i live in california and dont want to stand out too much but want a noticeable deep sound from my exhaust...

all my friends got 3" piping w/ 4.5'" outlet and havent got stopped... but im runnin stock KA and dont need piping that big so i wanna go with new 2.5" piping w/ a new dual tip but dont wanna sound the same as stock, if that makes sense...

wat do u think?

i kinda like the magnaflow dual tip exhaust... but the inlet is only 2.25...

i think ill opt for a reg. n1 style muffler w/ 2.5 inch piping...

where can i buy 2.5 inch piping without muffler but like a 2 piece w/ the flanges?

I am also suggesting BRM for dual tip exhaust. You really can't beat it. It's just sweet, plainly sweet.

Edit: I forgot to mention, get a 22" resonator with a BRM exhaust for the sound your looking for.

I just put the dual tip BRM exhaust on my S13. It sounds really good, with a nice deep tone and a low rumble at idle. I have 3" piping from the turbo back, with an 18" resonator and no cat.

Lol you're an idiot if you think your KA sounds like a V8. Or ANY four cylinder for that matter. Give me a break.

And btw, straight pipes are horrible for street driving. Especially on a n/a ka. can you say

I look at it as the Hardbody got a sports car motor

Whether you're under 95 db or not, the cops can harass you all they want. They don't carry a sound meter, they just choose who to pick on.

A 3 foot exhaust with a 4 foot tip would be a little on the rice side though

When you're low, you don't really care about how it sounds. It's all about ground clearance. When my A'pexi get's ripped off (pretty soon), it's going to be replaced by one of these five.

I do want something that can be heard a mile away, though.

Cops are allowed to pull u over in their "judgment"... so they dont need a DB meter to give you a tick, they just have to "suspect" that it is...

and not all 3" w/ 4" tip sound ricey, and that why i want 2.5" piping so i dont sound too ricer
