Hi, Im new here, and i have a question. is there any way i could get side exhausts on my s13? i not only think that they would give my s13 a musclecar look but i also think it would improve airflow and allow the lowering of the car by one inch to not effect ground clearance. Alright, lets face it, i am rationalizing it with these points but i mostly want it because itd look awesome. does anybody know of any companies that can do this? thanks in advance......

any custom muffler shop should be able to bend the piping you need into place. it'd have to be a tiny muffler and probably no cat to work it out, but sure. the possibilities are limitless. you could even run the exhaust pipes straight up through the roof for the smoke-stack look. if you wanted to.

i dont think it would help you be able to lower your car more becuase the exaust is all groved into the body so that to make it clear the body you bould have to drop it down forcein you to raise your car to clear stuff...

(aside from the "cool-factor" he is going for) i think he was focusing more on the rear overhang of the exhaust, and how it scrapes when you go over dips/exit steep driveways, etc.

thats it exactly. i dont want overhang in the back. also, would i get any problems with the sr20det i have in there? id probably have to modify the piping in there a bit, too.

still the fact that there is that lump in the bottom, and then having it clear the underbody would just make it sooo much worse than the little over hang... just my 2 cents
