Hey guys, this topic probably has been debated already. im not trying to start any arguements of which one is better, thats the last thing i want to happen. Anyways i really cant decide whether to get true duals or single exit exhaust systems. I kind of like the single but then again it kind of looks funny. I dont want to get a dual because every z i see that has aftermarket duals look trashy. ahh its frustrating me. Please help me decide. thanks

350z and s2k's IMO look better with single exits. (with a good angle)

Not to mention it would be a lil lighter.

Doesn't the z have dual cutouts? IMO it would look redonkulous to have an extra hole not filled with exhaust tip. Go with a nice polished dual setup with titanium tips to give it that nice blueish look. It'll give you more power and will look better.

the only reason to run sdingle exhaust would be if you built custom tuned headers, and i doubt that will happen

Yeah. Gotta keep your holes filled. Lol.

yes this is my first post. man I can only say when i go to buy something i will research for months before i buy anything my point is i really wanted the best exhaust i could fine but then again its all on what you like. i choose the borla exhaust system for the quality of the sound an the look. i was so worried about doing 40 mile hr. but sounding like im doing a 100.over here we call it the coffee can sound. you can go to utube an theres alot of videos of different before an after to let you hear the difference. you will get a very good idea of what it is you want. . definetally go with tru, tru dual exhaust system.

Why don't you go with a single splitting into a dual muffler. A great exhaust is the Topspeed Pro-1. 2.5" or 3". It's loud as hell without the silencers, and flows very well. it's also cheap. I got mine for $299 new. Stainless with robotic welding. It sounds great, great quality, and low cost.

True dual all the way. I've got the Greddy Evo2 true dual on mine and it's amazing.

True Duals ftw, would the single exit be centered or of to one side?

I would go true dual. I'm going to get the Bassani dual exhaust because I think it has a good clean sound and it's not too raspy. Check it out on youtube.com or go to http://www.bassani.com/part/350Z5 and check out the pics & video.

I sell exhausts and have had 6 or so on my car since 03. HKS sounds best IMO but isnt worth $1400. The new Injen is a knock off of the HKS and it runs under $900. The X02 is about $480 delivered and it is a knock off of the HKS also.

Single is only good for a turbo car. Sounds good, but power is less than dual.

Avoid Borla IMO, I have seen em lose power.

Listen to as many as you can before buying. You will not likely see 12 HP out of any of them, so you better like the sound.

Yeah X02 is the best knockoff of the HKS, looks just as good as it, but I don't know about the sound, I've never really heard them yet. My buddy just got them not too long ago on his 07 Z. I mean if the building material isn't cheap and it sounds just as good as the original I just might get an 02 system. I mean its just piping right,

Awe yeah I agree and I watched the Bassani video man that exhaust has a pretty good sound.

I am thinking of getting Bassani Exhaust, JWT Popchargers (As per mezzenator input), and that wing Carbon Z has FTMFW.

You can heat the bumper up and tuck it in to where it doesent show both holes for the exhaust and then put a clean *** slanted muffler on the left side
