For anyone who has second thoughts about the dual n1 and needs an extra kick to help make up your mind, its great:) I got it yesterday from Enjukuracing, they were very helpful with direction, I saved a lot because i picked it up and did have to pay shipping. Anyways 2 friends and I installed it ourselves. It took about 3 hours to install but we took long breaks. The instructions were very brief and the illustrated diagram was in Japanese. They weren't all to helpful, but I'm not a big fan of instructions anyways, its easy enough to figure out.

It preforms, sounds, and looks great. Lowend lose wasn't to bad in lower gears, but in like 4th or 5th if you try to accelerate from 2k up its alittle slower. Once you hit 3k it increases nicely. Sound levels weren't as loud as I was expecting. It sounds great all the way through the power band. Never sounded like a nitro powered weedwacker:) nice low deep basey sound. It fitted great to, nothing rubbing on the piping like I've read from other people.

Over all impression :ylsuper If you've got the money its worth it!

I recently got my N1 dual from enjuku also. The had the best price and got it to me in about a month, which isn't bad considering it was on back order from Japan. Shipping charges on it weren't to bad. I installed mine myself in about an hour without any breaks. I love it the sound is nice and deep no RICE. I can feel a slight increase in power, but the exhaust is well worth the money. Mine total from enjuku was something like 520. Anyone looking for an exhaust don't over look the N1 Dual.

Forgive the noobish question but is that 2 rear pipes with 2 pipes out the back?

from what i've gathered the single is louder but is waaaaay more annoying. also most people tend to agree that the dual gives you better power output and sounds better

95silviase, I would recommend getting the dual, it is designed for the 240 to increase mid range torque, which it does. A buddy of mine has a single N1 on his 240 and it has a raspy sound. If Have you ever seen the N1 daul on the car? It looks very nice, I think it looks better than the single. But that my opinion, to each their own.

The N1 dual is a great exhaust but NOT if you own a 97 or 98 240.The way it's designed is flawed,I think apexi thinks the 95 96 models are identical in structure, this is NOT the case. the dual WILL rub on your rear diff. if you install it properly causing those who own it(I'm one of them)to lower it on extra hangers to eliminate the rubbing. I'm selling mine to Ben who surfs this site for 225. but all in all the n1 dual is a quality piece just not for the 97,98.:D

So the N1 dual will not be an annoyance to myself and the people around? I will still be able to listen to my music without having to turn it up all the way? I'm looking into getting the dual as well.

I know on my 96 it comes really close to the rear diff, but doesn't rub. And MasterMan I have heard that it does work well with turbo, but I'm not sure of anybody with an SR that has one. I'm guessing that the 2 larger pipes will allow plenty of flow. The only other car that they make for is an rx-7 and those some of them are turbo so I would assume it would work. I guess I will have to wait till I get the swap and see.

I'm going to have to disagree on that one. I have a 98 and there is no rubbing. Maybe you recieved the S13 model or Apexi just modified it to fit better. I have more than an inch of clearance from the diff. on my car.

i've never seen a dual in real life on a 240. i've never heard it either. i've seen and heard a N1 single. i love the look of the single, but if the dual is as good as all of you make it out to be, i need to see some pics! if any of you have pictures of your dual on a 95+ 240, send them to me! [email protected] is the email addy. if you have them, more than one pic please. i wanna see it at as many angles as you can get, seeing as how i've never seen one in real life. but the crappy thing about the N1 dual is its more expensive:(

If you want pics try using google or yahoo and just search Apexi dual n1 exhaust. I know i've seen a few sites with peoples cars that have the dual n1. This weekend I'll try to get a few pics from my car uploaded.

On the old board someone posted some videos with sound of the dual n1. If i can upload it i'll post a link.

for those of you who have paper... draw a 9cm line acoss then draw another one perpendicular to that line creat a circle then draw one just like it beside that one... and thats how big your exhaust is... 90mm in diameter per pipe... it's pretty big if you look at it on paper...

They may have corrected the imperfection since last year after repeated complaints about it rubbing. I'm glad it worked out for you cause it's a really nice exhaust. Sucks for me ,good for you.:ylsuper

i'm still debating on the N1 single or dual!! i dont know if i would rather have high end power and the look i love from the single pipe going out at an angle, or mid and high end power from a pretty good looking exaust that i don't like the look of as well.:help

so you don't know what to get either? at least i'm not the only one in this dilema. i'm almost ready to say i'd rather have the awesome looks of the N1 single, and still have some power in the high end. thats better than nuthing. but i would use midrange power more than high. so i bet i'll end up gettin the dual after i SEE SOME PICTURES OF IT.
