Well, I finally got around to taking some pictures of my car since I added an exhaust (A'pexi Dual N1) and some tint. Next up is the VSLD 4.4 sitting in the basement and some S13 cams.

Yes, I was going to make a crack about the gap, but I'm glad someone else stepped up to the plate. Anyway, nice N1's. Welcome to the club.

I have no complaints. It's heavier than the stocker, but not by a lot. It hangs kind of low, but besides that, the only problem I've had is that it makes working under the rear half of the car kind of tight.

It's loud, but tolerable. I posted a thread on here a while ago with some sound clips... lemme find it.

EDIT: Here it is. zerothread?id=107249

Yes, I'm NA (for now). It's louder than I'm used to, that's for sure. I had an A'pexi GtSpec on my honda and it was much softer. I'd say it's probably a 6/7 out of 10 on the loudness scale. It's a deep loud though and not the typical 4 cylinder lawnmower loud.

I've considered lowering it... I dunno. It seems like a lot of money and there have been many times that I'm glad I wasn't... Chicago Streets are crap. We'll see.

Also, the parking spot is sloped a bit. That street is kinda shaped like a "n." I'll try to grab a picture in a flat spot.

N1 Dual looks the best of any exhaust I've seen on a S14, but I wish it was stainless. What's the tint you have on your windows? I looks a fair bit darker than mine.

im running the dual apexi n1 and i love it. it could be loud and ignorant at times ie: on highways just going a steady 65. but it sounds good nonetheless.

Yeah, the tips are stainless and the tubing is coated in titanium.

It's funny that you ask about the % on the tint... In truth it varies. The rear window and backseat windows are 20%, the front is a 35%. It is almost un-noticable until I point it out to people. The reasoning is that it's illegal to have tint on the front windows in Illinois so I went with a milder tint and hope they don't notice.

I did the tinting of the side windows myself by purchasing a squeegie and a pre-cut tint kit from tintkits.com. I tried to do the rear but it was a royal PITA. So I had to break down and have a professional do it. It's b/c the rear window is curved and the sides are semi-straight. Very easy.

Uh, isn't it aluminized mild steel?

The N1Ti doesn't come in dual tips...

definitely lower the car after winter. Also the N1s are too heavy and get in the way when working under the car. I love the sound I would have bought something else if it wasn't installed on the S14 when I bought it and if I didn't pull it off a S13 parts car I had.

The car will look great after a drop because it doesn't look terrible like it is. Btw, it looks exactly like Anands car.

Personally, I think the car should be raised to go rallycrossing.

All I know is what A'pexi tells me:

"The N1 Dual is a hybrid variation of the N1 exhaust. This system incorporates a twin pipe, twin canister design for improved mid-range torque without sacrificing top end power. The twin piping is constructed of mild steel with a titanium particle coating mated to SUS 304 polished stainless steel canisters. Each canister features a polished 90mm (3.54 inch) tip. Robotic TIG welds compliment the hand crafted MIG welds to create on of the most innovative and dynamic exhaust systems on the market.

CONCEPT:Retain the same peak HP of the single N-1 while improving mid range torque

CHARACTERISTICS:Mid to high-end power "

It's a dark grey compound and kinda feels like sandpaper. Almost like a powder coating of some sort. It'll take years for that thing to rust. Heck even a generic down the road muffler shop exhaust will last for many years.

I'm not sure I mentioned the N1Ti. I was talking about the Dual N1 exhaust.
