Can you run the duel maf with the 2nd Gen Dual Mass Air Translator and use BOVs without there being any problems? My 300zx tt had the duel maf and BOVs but the BOVs were stuck closed. I got new BOVs installed and they are now opening fine and you can hear the whistle. The only problems are 1. when I tap the gas it seems like the idle drops for a second then starts going up. 2. If I rev it up high and let off, the rpms will drop all the way to about 0 and then bounce off, back and forth, to like 300rpm, instead of staying at normal idle. If I turn it off and wait a while and turn it back on it idles fine but will go back to searching for idle if I try reving it high again. The reason I ask if I can use duel maf and blow off BOVs is because I am wondering if since the BOVs before were stuck close, it was like I didn't even have them. And now that they work, is that effecting it because now air can escape? or is because of a different problem?

Your thread title has been corrected. ;)

:poke: Duel - A duel is an arranged engagement in combat between two individuals, with matched weapons in accordance with agreed-upon rules.

You can, but it's not recommended. At least by me. Will you hurt anything? Probably not. But when you use BOV's on a closed loop MAF system, you're dumping metered air into the atmosphere. Not very good to do, as your engine is still trying to compensate for all that extra air you just let out by dumping fuel into the cylinder and running rich. The stock recircs are more than enough for MOST applications.
