dual exhaust tuning

my friend and i replace my intake cam with a exhaust cam. it seems to work fine but now i need to fine tune it. i read up on some other problems but there causes dont seem to fit mine. my problems are...

idling to low, (when u come to stop the engine wants to die) the "flat spot" between 1-2k rpm( the rpms drop when taking off), and power movement (is their anyway to get any mid power without throwing more parts at it?)

i have a 90 240sx with a fairly stock ka24de in it.. thanks in advance
