I have a 2004 sedan and I am looking into making my first mod and installing an exhaust. I really like the dual exhaust look from the 04 coupe and wanted that same look. My question is will the Stillen dual catback system from the coupe fit my sedan?

I am quite positive that the pipe path and length is different on the Coupe and Sedan.

With catbacks always good to measure the oem backpressure just after the cat to know for sure how much you are trying to improve...........then after the aftermarket install to see how much your money actually purchased......................often a disappointment.

The problem is the rear muffler section...the 03-04 G35 sedans don't have the hardware to do a simple swap. You could fabricate (or a shop) and modify the rear bumper to fit a dual setup...

If you want a cheaper solution, you can always replace your midpipe with a coupe one. 03-07 coupes will fit 03-06 sedans.

It will not give you as much sound/power as a full CAT-back upgrade, but it will make the sedan sound much meaner!

ding ding

I just did this on my sedan....makes a much better sound.

i also like the dual exhaust look, but i think you would have to modify more than just the bumper to get coupe exhaust.

how restrictive are the mufflers on the 03-04's??

Since i changed out the midpipe, i was thinking about maybe the HKS muffler/tailpipe

I know the OEM mufflers are not designed for power...they are designed for quiet. I suspect that the sedan ones are very restrictive.
