I already have the low beam (h11) installed with ballasts. How would I go about adding the high beams? There would not be a harness to plug in.

you need to buy another hid conversion kit for high beam...How often do you use high beam? Many people just get hid kits for low beams and fogs only.

the amount of time it takes for an HID bulb to warm up and get to full brightness isnt worth it for a high beam unless you drive in the country where theres noone else around. If not by the time the bulbs get fired up to full brightness youll have to flip them off for an oncoming car. HID bulbs arent meant to be flipped on and off repeadtly anyways.

+1 to binas post...

It wont fire up fast enough for "occasional" use... besides the fact that its highly blinding to the other drivers on the road.

Also they arent meant to be flipped on and off, they will fry easily.

If you're just trying to get a matching look whenever you have your HID's and brights on, you can just get a pair of Sylvania Silverstars or a pair of APC halogen bulbs. I know APC makes all kinds of bulbs that'll match anywhere from 5000K to ricer 20K. This way, you'll have matching color whenever you use your highs (but not matching output, of course).

there was a bulb that gives better output than the stock H9 bulb, but i forgot what it was called....the bulb was almost in the shape of a ball at the end.....
