Ok so i bought the oznium lights. Now i want to install them to go on with my fogs. My fogs are set up so they have a switch to turn them off but they will be on all the time otherwise. If i want to connect these to the fogs how do i do this. Ive never done any of this EVER. I didn't install my fogs so yea...... Do i splice one of the wires on the fogs and wrap the oznium lights wire around that then tape it up? Or is this the dangerous way to do it? Im going to be doing it sat or sunday so hopefully someone helps e before this.....

Thanks for the help ahead of time

I used that method for my turn signals (led) and ya, don't go that route. It can cause problems later on.

Someone showed this little red piece that splices the wire for you, I think it's in Dangeris' sequential turn signal install how to. (hahaha that almost doesn't make sense).

I don't really want to put forth any advice because I don't know much about the electrical stuff and I don't wanna screw you over in the end.

This works, sometimes...

They are the crappyiest things, they dont always work right, and will cause headaches if not fires.

The REAL way to marry wires, is to cut, slide heatshrink over, strip, marry (solder if you have), tape, then shrink.

You dont wanna try and figure out which one of these things isnt working if it doesnt fire up.

Id just stay away from them.

are these different than T-taps?? i've heard of a lot of members using t-taps for tapping into a power source, are these ok for this application? or are t-taps not waterproof?

I've always used the tape/heatshrink method. While using t-taps to hook into a power source is convenient, I prefer knowing that I have a good, solid connection by actually splicing the wires by hand. Like LBC said, if there's a problem anywhere in your setup, you don't want to have to go through each and every one of your t-taps trying to find out which one is f'd up.
