car-1996 240sxmilage-115100my location florida.ok this is my problem after replacing old knock sensor whith new(oem)sensor the eng light was still on. i had a diagostics ran here is the list ofmalfuction

MAF or VAFmalfuction

EGR Flowmalfunction

Knock sensor 1Circuit malfuctionBank 1 or 1 sensor

IAT sensorCircuit malfution

EVAP Emission Control system malfuction

befor it was just a knock sensor code now is all of this?!

that's weird...

did u unhook negative battery cable to reset the ECU & then try to read the codes again? (u did this @ autozone for free, right?) If it's OBD II, I believe for some cars, they can clear the codes thru the scanner...

did you test the "bad" knock sensor itself? mebbe it's the wiring & not the sensor...

(i'm just being a buffer until the real experts arrive)

The knock sensor does not trigger a check engine light so one or more of those other codes were already there before the knock sensor replacement. With that many codes you need to clear the codes and drive the car to see what comes back. If any of those were unplugged and you started the car you could have triggered codes like that. Do the erase and recheck.
