I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue that my father and I are fixing up. The dealer just replaced the ECU and BCM in the car and it runs. The check engine light is NOT on but I have a few codes coming up that the tech alerted me to.

The one known issue I know I have is that the trunk won't open unless manually released from the inside.

Here are the two DTC codes and what I found they mean online -
1. B2600 - Double locking door motor frozen
2. C1769 - Park Brake Apply Switch Circuit Short To Ground

For the C1769 I believe this part will fix it - SWITCH ASSY-PARKING BRAKE LAMP - 36011-4BA0A

I'm uncertain what B2600 goes to, anyone have any thoughts?

For the trunk not opening unless manually released from the inside, the tech thought it was the actuator which we think is - 90500-1AA0B. Anyone else have to replace the actuator before? It clicks as if its trying to open when I push the button but it won't disengage.

Any thoughts on the 2 codes would be appreciated. Also any thoughts on the trunk actuator would also be helpful.

Best,
Chris

I found this with just a quick search, you've probably already seen it. Double locking door motor? Really? Does it have anything to do with the rear hatch auctator not working or frozen? If all other doors are working properly I would be thinking in that direction.

Find a wiring schematic, locate the grounding points (all of them) and clean and reseat them. Use some dielectric grease especially if the vehical has gotten wet, which i assume it has. I've replaced auctators on VW s before but never on a Nissan. Usually it's a matter of 2-4 screws holding the auctator body on and an electrial connector.

Record the codes and then try clearing them and see what comes back. Sometimes codes just need to be cleared. Having the ecu and bcm replaced probably generated a bunch of codes.

Thanks for the tips - I was going to try that with the actuator before replacing it (disconnecting, cleaning, greasing). All doors are fine which leads us to believe its the trunk.

Anyone else had these codes come up?
