DTC access 2003 maxima se

SES light on and need to determine how one accesses the DTC so I can determine the problem and how best to address.

Pull codes? Go to a local Autozone (or whatever) and they can pull codes for you.

Called local AZ and they wanted to know if I knew where the DTC code plug was located. Any clues?

I believe it is under the dash to the left of the steering column or around the fuse box area.

One needs the *.pdf version of FSM to look up codes [given by scanner] to then follow proceedures to identify problem.

Of course, which is why we have the FSM's available.
