DTC 93 diagnostic code on S14?

I have a 97 240sx se.

And the freaken' service engine light came on the other day.I finally found some time to check it out today. So, I pulled the couple of screws that hold the ECM (ECU) in place and tuned the screw back and forth to put the computer into dianostic mode II.It gave me a code 93 message, but the 1995 S14 book that I payed too much for on e-bay doesn't list anything for code # 93 it just skips past it. F$@K! Anyways, any help at all is appreciated.

Where to look for nissan DTC codes, or a phone # to call a nissan help line or anything at all would be soooo appreciated.

you got the same prob as mine...i got a 97 too and have no idea how to fix it. According to the FAQs at 240sx.org its a park/neutral switch but how the hell do you have a switch when its a stick?!?! :rolleyes Keep me posted if you ever find anything else bout the subject

Not exactly...I think you have a DTC 103, mine is a code 93, which is not in my book or on the 240.org FaQ.

I counted it about ten times in a row, it was the only code, and it was definitely the 93 code, so what the F?

There has got to be a technical support hotline or something for Nissan, wouldn't you think?

Aye you know wut...my ECU cleared last nite. Unfortunately it only cleared for a couple of hours then it came back on. So finally this morning, i gave up...i popped my cluster and took the freakin bulb out!!!

I hear ya, but I don't think I am willing to go that route...I will still have that Fen light going in my mind

I guess I I'm gonna have to pay the dealer for I diagnosis with the Nissan CONSULT computer..>$HIT..I hate to pay $75 for 5 minutes work.
