Hello,

I have seen lots of talk on this forum about DT but i want to know one thing: Do they have the ability to transport a GTR to my location. I dont care if its DOT approved or legal to drive. Im seriously considering buying a R33 GTR off these guys and really could care less if it will ever be legal in America. I just care that the car gets here.

Is the debate about their ability to produce the car? or just the approval ****?

well the question iswhere are located? and if you buy the car from a auction site most of them have the shiping companies pick up the car and ship it to your country. if not im sure on the internet you can find place that you can drop off your car and theyll ship it to you.

<sigh>

Seriously. Read more, brother.

zer...atorshttp://forums.nicoclub.com/z ... er...e-usa

The guy is selling the business (or trying to). He claims it makes him a half-mil a year. He created fake screen names on here and claimed it wasn't him (IP proves otherwise). He made a fool of himself over and over. He threatened me with a lawsuit and pissed himself when I called his bluff.

Go ahead. Do business with a liar. Don't say we didn't warn you.

p.s. You don't need his help to get a JDM car into Canada. Whoever told you that was confused.

I know that i dont need his help to get a JDM car into Canada(check out my current car). I was only cared if they could import a car into Canada for me. No other importer i talked to would even consider importing me a R34 or R33 GTR. The reason for this is i hear talk about them changing the import rule to match the US (25 years). I want to get my GTR Landed before they change it so it will be grandfathered.

Ive read those but like i said, i dont see where it says its no longer going to import cars... i know JDM expert or whatever was his same IP. I was only concerned about weather or not he could get the car to Canadian soil. Not if it would be legal once it was here.

Well, knock yourself out then.

Why not buy one already in-country?

Dude.. seriously... try to talk to Karim first before you risk!

His email is..

[email protected]

he's located in LA, Cal

Far more trust worthy than DT... we don't even know DT has products.

Karim on the other hand. I have dealt with him and I know many others who have nothing but good things to say about him.

In the end, it's your money.

You be stupid with it. I could careless.

I am just nice enough to warn you this once.

Lastly... shame on you for trying to support someone with bad business ethics.

Hello,

Thank you, I will email him but as i have said before i have not seen any other importer offer R33/R34 GTR let alone for the prices DT was offering them.

In the end, like i said, i could care less about the debate on legalized skylines. The laws are different up here and i just want a car landed to store until such time as i am allowed to drive it before they change the law.

The reason i haven't looked at buying one in country is that ive never seen a reasonably priced R33/R34 in my country. Unless im missing something?

DT says they can get me any car off this site, i showed them three i would be interested in... however it seems as if they have stopped replying to my emails. Guess that answers my question

Ever hear the phrase ? "too good to be true?"

Ever get an email saying you won the lottery in Liberia ? Kenya ? UK.

Scams man. Thats it. If the price is low, he says he can get you something no one else can, does that not raise a flag ?

Be gullible if you want, we can only help someone so much.

Sit down and think for a minute. Am I harsh, yes I am. Am I your friend ? No I am not. Am I trying to save you a world of hassle and a lot of money, yes I am. If I have to slap you upside the head to realize this, that is what I will do.

Feel free to see his thread on the SON240sx site. He couldn't defend hi,self here, so he toddled over there to try and make us look like the bad guy.

The problem is, we've not deleted a damn thing. He never posted anythnig worthwhile.

He fails at basic reading comprehension, doesn't think before he speaks, and honestly, I don't feel too sorry for anyone who gets ripped off by this sack of runny fecal matter.

Here's the 1 statement made by DT, that clearly demonstrates he's not aware of the import laws regardless of the country.
drifttuners wrote:Ok Sean so If new cars can’t be imported why is it that the old 25 year cars can be?? Well commonsense would say that the 25 year old cars are way more safe then the new ones and so much more safe in terms of emissions, right?
As I understand he's saying since the US allows cars over 25 yrs of age, they must be safer and better from an emissions standpoint?!?! Wow.

Wow, That was uncalled for? What about what I asked would you consider idiotic? Was it the THREE questions ive asked you now that you have yet to answer?

Furthermore to tyndago, these prices do NOT seem to good to be true. I can see what they are selling for in Japan. Ive had my hand in importing TWO different JDM cars so i know the associated transportation costs. So im sorry if you think 30k is unbelievable for a r33 GTR landed in Alberta. I can see auctions that are selling r33 GTRs for as low as 8k USD. This being said 30k is ALOT different then 60-80k.

Ill state this AGAIN... i do NOT care about legalization. I want to buy the car and sit it in my garage.

I am blown away at the attitude I have met from just posting a simple question. Ive been an active NICO member for a while; if I was new to the forum after seeing how people who ask questions are treated I dont think id come back.

So ill ask again... and ill do it in a fairly simple way (not that I think i will have the luxury of having anyone read before they post):

Can they get the car here? IF NOT THEN

Where 'in country' can i get one?

p.s - im still waiting to be pointed to the post where they say they are no longer importing cars....

I went over to that web page and read the information. I really laughed at this quote."You don't have an attorney, queer.

Better bring your A-game, youngster. No more backpedaling."

Funny thing is he hasn't come back to that forum either."

sampsonj did you read and understand everything, I don't mean to be mean but have someone else close to you read it and explain it to you because I get the feeling you don't understand because if you did you woudn' have said this.

I said that in response to

"Dude.. seriously... try to talk to Karim first before you risk!

His email is..

[email protected]"

Ive explained the price thing... im not paying 60-80k for a motorex car when the r33s are selling for as low as 9k in japan and can be imported for another 3-5k. In Canada we have a 15 year rule not a 25 year rule so the R33s will legally roadworthy as early as next summer. I only want the car here in case the law changes so it would be grandfathered.

Im confused as to what in my last post was unclear...

I understand that the guy is a moron and a douche. But so was the guy that imported my friends EVO. In fact the EVO guy not only ripped him off by almost 4k, but he left it on a dock in Vancouver to be picked up.... but... they car still got here.

I cant be anymore clear then i have been. Im sorry if your comprehension does not allow you the ability to decipher my cryptic question...

CAN HE IMPORT A VEHICLE

Perhaps i should help you a bit further....here are some acceptable answers:

YES....

NO...

Here are some answers you should stay away from:

Hes a bad guy...

learn to read noob....

your an idiot.....

You guys seriously need to get over yourselves... It feels like im back in Jr. High here.

I gave you that contact because he come by some skylines.

There are plenty of skylines in the North America.

No need to waste dealing with someone who has air as a product.

Dude.

1) That was directed at Jeremy (DT).2) You asked for an opinion, you got it.3) Do you need my help buying a Big Mac too?

Here - Go buy a car from the guy.

Feel better? Is that the recommendation you wanted?

Why are you so dead-set on ME answering a question that some douchenozzle should be answering for himself? I'm not Jeremy. I don't run DoofTuners. I don't live in Canada. I took time out of my day to direct you to some resources so you could make up your OWN DAMN MIND.

How easy is it to scam people ? The OP seems to have not a clue in relating one problem with someone with other issues. Does he not have the ability to see that Driftturders is lying about everything. They lie about the ability to bring the cars to the US. Lie about working with JK. They lie to people in Canada about where they are located( On the SON forum, someone checked them out). They lie about customers.(Both Greg and Myself have emails from people that sent him money, and no car.)

Is it that hard to figure out ? You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make him drink.

Is it really that hard to figure out ? I guess for that guy it is. I hope he likes getting scammed, because it is probably going to happen to him over and over in his life. If he can't see this, he probably won the lottery in the UK too, and Microsoft is sending him $1,000,000 for being the one billionth user.

Yes even after everyone in the room has said the stove is hot, the stove is glowing red, and they even put an egg on top to illustrate this he still has to touch the stove. Good luck
