dsm injectors, problem or no?

Weird....the pintle cap fell off.

yeah no cap is a problem as it forms the spray jet.

question is, where did it go?

they look pretty clean. maybe someone cleaned 'em out not knowin what they were. lol. j/k. i wonder how that happens though.

That is wierd. I've never seen it before. Regardless you can't use the one on the right now. That kinda sucks...

An injector cleaner / servicing place (like RC Engineering or that other place that's in Florida I think, forgot the name but they're like 1/2 the price) can possibly fix it.. the question is, if they can, is it worth it? I mean if you're lucky you can get DSMs for nothing..

If tommorow goes well and I get the car running correctly, I should have a set of stock injectors for sale next week.

you can buy new pintle caps and put it on yourself!I did this with a mates injectors for his Z18ET

If you need a pintle cap, I can probably snag one for you from the junkyard from another DSM. There's about a million of em in the junkyard here.
