Does anyone know where I can get a set of instructions for the rear dum brakes on a '87 nissan 4x4? Chilton's is basically worthless. I am planning on replacing all the springs and hardware when I change the shoes.

do one side at a time. use the other side as a reffrence how everything goes. before you tear either side down take note of the things that are position opposed on either side of the car. For example the ebrake arm is on the rear shoe on both sides, the adjuster wheel turns opposite directions for left and right. The little lever that opperates the wheel is on the same shoe as the ebrake arm. You get the drift? The stuff is built the same way on either side of the vehcile but its like looking at it through a mirror......or use a mirror to look at the other side and install the side your doing just like the image in the mirror...lol
