Let me start by saying that it does look better in person...but I still don't like certain design changes, namely the headlights and taillights. I drove a 6MT with basic amenities (though I did sit in a loaded one).

My first impression when getting in the car is that it's much more refined than the G35. The seats are so much better! No more sore legs from the ill-placed seat controls! The ends of the seat come out similar to a lazy boy, just not as far. The passenger seat has controls to move it on the upper portion of the seat side. It even has a back up camera with the NAV option! The lever to put the seat forward and the seat belt bracket feel sturdy and more integrated.

The push button start and the display are the same as the 07 sedan. The car starts up with a much different exhaust note. The first thing I noticed was the feel of the gas pedal. It felt very different than my 05...it was at a weird angle, and didn't go all the way to the floor. I didn't really like it, but could probably get used to it.

The power from the new VQ37 engine comes on like a slow surge, with most of the power in the upper RPM range. It was definitely slower than my modded 05...this is why I was relived! I just expected more usable power throughout the band. A VQ35 with mods will provide more usable HP and will be faster (we'll have to see what mods will do to the 37).

The one system that impressed me the most was definitely the brakes! Wow, what an improvement over the 03-05! Not sure how they compare to Brembo option, but I know those were too "grabby". The G37 brakes aren't like that at all. I would love to have these brakes on my G! Plus the new calipers are looking hot!

It was a fun test drive, I even let the rear hang a bit with the VDC off ...but I'm still very happy with my current G, and will probably keep her until at least the GT-R is out...

I noticed that the gas pedal felt strange & unfamiliar on the 2007 sedan. Didn't think it felt as strange on the coupe though, but was still different.

Well EverythingG35 has it for the same price as the G35 was (its discounted now), and the picture looks the same...so I'm gonna say it's the same with different hanger placement (maybe).
