this beamer look sick!! now I noticed that even stock beamer comes with a small fender gap. If you get it lowered like this, would that requires a very stiff suspension to avoid rubbing? Can it be done w/ say sportline springs or do you have to resort to coilovers?

From personal experience you'll need more than just shocks. When I dropped my Acura CL, I installed neuspeed springs (2" front, 2.50" back) KYB AGX Shocks, and Engals camber kit. Dropping a car requires the right stuff and NOT half a$$ shimming of bolts. Do it right from the start I always say!
