Well i just got done takin the Ka out and gettting everything ready to drop in...so this time tomrrow i should have the CA in......a couple months ago i put a post on here about how mine came with a broken cam......and i got a new one and put it in and got the motor all squared away and ready to put in.......!!!!!!!!!!!

Just askin for a little luck....hahaha

Good luck man, I'm hopefully going to put mine in soon. Sourcing that damn metal plate thing for the transmission and painting my engine bay.

goodluck! the hard part is toward the end where you try to get it running or runs perfectly. Either that or just me

my one word of advice is dont start to rush just because you want to hear it turn over.. make sure everything is ready to go and double check everything. No sense in messing something up because you become a happy little boy

Is the CA pretty straight forward to drop in? Easier than the SR? I'm debating on buying a CA and doing it myself and i'll save a lot of cash.

Also, where do you guys get your CA's? Is ebay safe to buy engines from? i'm kinda skeptical about ebay

There is nothing procedure-wise different between the two motors as far as installation. Just a little different IC piping on the throttle body side.

And as for bugs when it first goes in... hmm, my eprom chip was a dud, my timing was off by a tooth, I popped off a coolant hose under the manifold that wasn't secure, and a vacuum cap popped off.
