dropping idle

ok i was wondering if anybody has ever heard of this problem happening before. i had some trouble with my car not starting it turns out some wiring had worked its way loose. but anyway i swapped a blacktop s13 sr20 in my car about 3 months ago and everything was running fine. now when i turn my car on the idle jumps up to about 1800 rpm then works its way down to about 1000. the car runs fine really responsive but the turbo is only hitting around 2 psi at 6500 the i'll let the rpms fall and they'll drop to about 500 and come up to 800. if the car sits in neutral running the rpms will eventually fall to 0 after about 5 minutes. when im driving it drops lower and lower when i push in the clutch. its fine when i first start driving but it gets ****ty fast. i was thinking maybe i have a small leak in the intercooler but that happened to me before and i couldn't get the car to rev above 2500, i can go to redline now tho. anybody got any ideas? stupid little things have been going wrong like this for a little while and im getting close to the end of my rope thanks.
