I want to upgrade my springs for a lower stance and better response, and I want to know about other peoples experience with this. I would like to change just the springs to save some money. are there any you can use with the regular struts. I was thinking about h&r or tein for the price and the measurement. any suggestions?

If you plan to lower the car, I would replace the struts. Factory struts are not designed to handle the reduced travel and will blow out on you. If you must do it with stock dampers, don't lower the car more than about 1.4-1.5". The struts may last longer but it's still not ideal. I'd wait till you can afford to do it all at once. After all, when the stock struts blow you are going to have to do the whole thing all over again anyway.
