Check it out, peoples. A good part of you will rag on this "skyline knock off" but I think it's sexy as hell. I'd do it to mine if I had the money, but only after an engine swap first. He needs to get a new grille.

The ONLY thing I like about it is the rear end. The tail lights and trunk look pretty damn good. The rest..... meh... it's a cool concept but it falls WAY short. The front end looks WACK!

Yeah, something about the front end just doesn't look right. Must be the way things line up because it looks better with the hood up. The rear end definately looks badass. I love it.

Seen it a few days ago. If you go through all that trouble I don't understand why you just don't do the engine.

I doubt he was on this site, it would have been mentioned here, and he would have probably done engine work first had he been. Its still cheaper than importing and legalizing a skyline, engine, body, and all that custom work. Then again, I'd have to take out a loan to get that, so I'd probably just go for a bit more money and get a real one.

Personally I don't like how people try and imitate a great car like the Skyline, especially with a stock KA thats automatic. But to each his own.

Looks pretty close, but I agree people shouldnt make their cars into something they aren't.

People try to imitate a great car so people think they have a great car. I'd do engine work first, and make it go. The only reason I like it is because I'm in love with skyline styling, and IMO the s14 pulls it off well. (basically it looks better like a skyline than it does like an s14)

I ran across that yesterday at work. Thought it looked very good.

I would do that in a heartbeat, if I had the fundage. But at bare minimum, it would have a boosted KA. I dont mine hooking up something to look nice, but it has to have the muscle to back up the look.

For eight grand that’s pretty nice, I mean hey all the bodywork is done. Fix it up, sand, primer, refit the body pieces, and put a nice thick Jet Black coat with some clear on and you have a pretty nice setup. I think the price totally justifies itself. Think about it, R33 Skyline headlights and taillights don't come cheap. Plus he's already done all the molding and body work, if I hadn't of found my S13 awhile ago and this car was close I might consider it. Just drop in a nice RB series with a manual transmission and you have one hell of car. As much as I would like to own a real Skyline and would take it over that, that thing is still street legal, meaning it could be a stress free (not having to worry about cops crushing your car everyday) daily driver. If you ask me, it’s a nice compromise; sometimes I envy you S14 owners!

i think the front looks okay and the back is the part that looks weird. All it needs is an rb and a little work to the interior.

The body work does look very good. It looks like whatever place did it, spent some good time on it. But, I personally don't like pretending my car is another car. That's why I myself am not fond of Silvia badges, and conversions. We got the 240sx, and I'm glad Nissan gave us this great car even though it has the KA. And it's not like it's a bad thing because I like the KA engine since it suits my driving style.

But overall, that car is worth atleast 10k because it has a lot of money invested into it, and it was very well done as far as Skyline conversions go.
