Drop gas tank to replace fuel pump?

Hey, Is there any way to get to the fuel pump without dropping the gas tank on a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder? I heard there is a compartment that you can open in order to access the fuel pump. Is that true? HELP HELP!!!

Is it under the rear seat? Some sedans have the pump there.

I haven't seen it there, but does anyone know for sure who has experience with pathfinders? Thanks

It's inside the tank and there should be an access hole under your carpet in the cargo area.
