DRLs????

I was wondering what you guys use as day time runners? I need to get them soon and I don't want to be the same as everyone else. aka using their regular lights as DRLs.

I want to know if anyone uses LEDs or those halo projector fogs that are always on ebay. And if anyone does use them, how they wired them so they could be used as DRLs and/or how they retrofitted them on the bumper.

I sometimes use my LED strips as DRLs when it's about dusk. I just wired them to the yellow running lights and took out the yellow bulbs.

I see, I see, but I still wanna keep my auto lights feature. /:( I kinda want to try those halo fogs...

The halo fogs i got off ebay are cool at night but during the day you can barley see them, In the great state of washington you can see them pretty well since there is never any sun but here in cali you can ony see them at night. but you can still use the foglights as DRL's. Like rcboy said, splice into the parking lights and there you have it, DRL halo's or fogs.

Alright, then in that case I'll probably just hook up the fogs as DRLs. Now, I want to put hids in them, how much/ how hard is it to do that?

I use my HID fogs as DRL. I have them running independently (dont have to turn on the park lights).
