Thanks for the reply, Telco. I didn't make it clear that I was referring to installation of aftermarket LED daytime running lights, which our 2011 and earlier non-Canada cars didn't come with (nor any type of DRLs).
The MyG37 thread is all about how to replace bulbs in the existing lights that came with the car, including some info on converting some of them to HID or LED. It's a great write-up for those purposes, but doesn't have any info on adding DRLs.
The write-up I recall seeing somewhere had info on light kits, what circuit(s) to tap, and what relays to use to end up with DRLs that properly switched off when the headlights came on. (The JDMToy kit is a "dumb" one that just leaves the DRLs on all the time the ignition is on, and I understand that's not legal in my state.)
