DRL delete?

Want to know how to delete the DRL on my versa. Might not be legal but, i see lot's of newish cars without them...

There use to be a dedicated fuse in some of the early car's that came with them in the U.S. but don't know anymore.check it out and let us know.

my little brother did this to his matrix, all he did was put a switch before the fuse, that way you can still have them if you want

the fuses I have seen in the past say DRL.

Is DRL standard on both S and SL? My '08 S doesn't appear to have this nanny feature.

No, its a Canadian thing. I'm pretty sure that it is the law and all new cars (for quite some time) are required to have them.

Ya, it's a canadian thing. But we dont have TPMS...

You might be seeing people who purchased vehicles in the US (where DRL are not very common). Vehicle prices have not caught up with the exchange rates. The base model V costs about $1000 more in Canada than it does here. But even more telling is that the Mercedes C300 here is priced at about $33,000 and in Canada at about $41,000.
