hey guys, if any of you are from the tampa bay area, i need some big help. even with my basic knowledge of auto repair, there's nothing i can do for my dad's truck as he doesn't have the proper tools to do the full job.

so here's some info about what's going on to better explain what i need help on. i currently reside in CA but he resides in FL, and I flew out here to help him drive all his stuff back to CA. however, with him living on his own, and the mileage on his truck, he hasn't changed out a lot of stuff in his truck. basically we need the bare essentials to ensure we'll get back home. belt replacement, hose replacement and inspection, oil change, tune up, etc. if any of the members here either work at a shop in the tampa bay area that can help out, refer a shop to us in that area or simply could get a group of guys together and we all do it at somebody's house would be of great help.

also keep in mind that his truck has 170,000+ miles and just about all the mechanical stuff is OEM straight off the showroom floor. all that's been changed is the fan belt, and fan clutch from what he's told me.

thanks!!!!

Why not just take it to the dealer for that stuff? I lived in Tampa for 5 years, and there are some pretty shady shops there, so be careful. I only took mine to the dealer when I had to..........either Nissan of Brandon, or Courtesy Nissan on Dale Mabery near the Stadium. You didn't say what kind of truck it was, so I'm guessing Nissan? If not, let me know, and I'll see if I can think of some different shops.

On a side note......where at in Cali? I just moved from there....lived in El Dorado Hills about 40 minutes from Sacramento
