Driving style learning

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hi All,

A quick question that hopefully has somewhat of a simple answer

I purchased my 09 EX from a dealership about 600miles away. The drive home was all highway driving and through mountains.

I haven't noticed any real issues so far, but I imagine any "learning" or shift logic involved on that drive is much different than my normal city driving.

How can I reset any drive "learning" on my EX?

How frequently does this learning take place?

TIA

The quickest option is to disconnect your battery cable and depress the brake pedal several times for a minute or two. This should drain the system and the car should revert back to it's stock mode.

With that being said I wouldnt worry about it personally. The vehicle will adapt to you soon enough.
