Alright this is what happened, i was driving along getting ready to stop at a stop sign and all of a sudden the car started kind to just stumble on it self so to speak and died. I can try to crank it over and it just won't start whatsoever. I also noticed the brake light was on when I was trying to start it even though the emergency brake wasn't pulled which I had never noticed before. Any ideas would be great because until i figure it out i'm a sitting duck :(

Thought I should mention, its a 95' 240sx with the stock KA24DE motor. Has around 140,000 miles on the car and motor as far as I know.

Hard to say withoug knowing more, but you can start with the basics. Fuel, compression and spark are what an engine needs. In my mind it's very cost effective to own a fuel pressure gauge, a compression tester, and a timing light. You can check all three amigos with the three tools and in many cases save yourself a trip to the shop if you can afford to spend a little time trouble shooting and making repairs. Even if you take your car to a shop you're much better off if you know where the basic problem lies.
