ok serioulsy...who said that just cuz you speed means u cant drive, most of the girls i know never speed and they cant drive for spit...the only thing speeding says is "wow this kids got cant keep his foot off the gas", its gay how people say oh uve been puled over for speeding im never riding with you...the only times ive wrecked is when i was doing somethign stupid, like trying to get an 89 volvo 240 to drift hahaha. ussually when u speed ur adrenaline is pumping and u are concetrating on the road more so u pay more attention to the road, only thing u have to worry about is dumbass not looking when they pull out in to traffic.

It has been over three years since my last ticket, so I'm almost scared to post here and jinx myself. I'll try to remember though.

1 at fault accident (person slammed on their brakes in front of me. I dodged them, hit the center divider, spun across four lanes of traffic and someone ran into me. I managed to dodge the idiot who cut me off, how come the other fool couldn't dodge me? Anyway...)

1 car pool violation (I had a couple month stint where I never stopped at those lights that let you onto the freeway. I eventually got busted for it.)

~5 speeding tickets (The best one being where the CHP chased me for 5 miles and I didn't even notice him behind him)

1 modified exhaust ticket (Mmmm, SuperTrap goodness)

1 Illegal left hand turn (downtown LA, stupid no left turn from 5-7pm)

I'm sure that I've had some more, but they all seem to blend together. I actually got a speeding ticket, the very first night I was allowed to drive. I still had that piece of paper the DMV gives you to use, while you're waiting for the license to show up in the mail.

I've chilled out a lot though. I racked up 7 points in 8 months. The DMV wanted to yank my license, and I only held onto it because I pleaded my situation very well, when dealing with the official at the Office of Driver Safety. The angle I took was that if I lost my car, I'd lose my job. I got my boss to write me a letter saying the same thing, and talk about how good of an employee I was. The guy took pity on me. I could have been seriously screwed otherwise.

You just keep telling yourself that.

Ever had a semi-truck decide to change lanes into the space you're using to pass?

Ever gone to make a lane change, into the same lane someone else is trying to turn into (at 35mph less than you are going)?

Ever blown a tire at 80+mph?

Ever locked up the brakes at 80+mph?

Man I had a blow out at 80 miles an hour in my accord a year ago. Man let me tell you somethin, that **** is no fun, and to make it worse i was in the far left lane (passing lane), man try gettin over a busy highway with a flat tire, and that **** will make your *** slow down for a long time.I was doin like 95 before the blow out, but i slowed down for some reason. God was was with me that day.Cars are no joke man you have to respect them, cuase when you dont, thats when people get hurt or die.

Failure to make a complete stop at a stop sign, No front license plate.

Corrected the plate, took traffic school, hence driving record has zero points.

I've had my drivers license since April 2001.

Speaking of blowouts, I was driving my dads 2001 Ford F-350 Superduty 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel, Crew Cab, Long bed, the works, in the far left lane, doing 80 when the 7000+ lb truck was suddenly riding on 5 tires intsead of 6.....of course the front right tire was the one that went....blew instantly....I should be dead. I was stuck in the fast lane, a van was in the lane to the right of me. I had the wheel all the way turned right, almost running into the barrier at one point. I just barely got to the shoulder before it was riding total rim. This was 7 days before Xmas 2003 too, on the way to Sacramento. My dad and even the CHP officer that was a 1/4 mile back gave me mad props for pulling that thing over without wrecking......

Tickets: None, never pulled over either. Still have my permit only tho, and I have never even got pulled over. Did run from a cop one night, driving w/o my license, alone in my own car. Believe it or not, my 3.8L V6 '86 Thunderbird ran through a almond orchard at 50 MPH+ and beat a cop....heh thank god for country roads and the houses with long driveways ;)

I got one of those in Costa Mesa. I was waiting to make a left hand turn onto 19th street, and a motorcycle cop drove through the intersection going to the opposite direction. He flipped a *****, and pulled me over as I was making my turn. Just for the plate.

Loosing a front tire is no joke. If you had been in a FWD vehicle, it's a pretty good bet that the car would be totalled right now. Doesn't matter what kind of car you're in though. As soon as a tire goes, you're pretty much just along for the ride.

I have had cars and truckers pull infront of me or into my lane while speeding, I also locked them down at 90mph(for about 1 second).

I blew a tire out at 77 mph while pulling a trailer. No biggie. At least it wasn't for me.

On occasion I will freely admit that I have been very lucky. Never had a single wreck. I havn't gotten a moving violation in over a year now.

edit* I didn't include verbals or writtens because that would take all day and is the main reason why I get so many seat belt violations.

I've had my license for about 3 months, no tickets or anything like that. I drive carefully, my town is full of cops, anytime I leave my house I see about 5 cops, no joke, and 4 live with half mile of me...

What's your deal with not wearing a seatbelt?

Partly because I just don't like it, partly habit, and partly stupidity because I have been fortunate enough that so far I havn't wrecked. Plus it gives them something else to ticket me for instead of giving me a speeding ticket everytime. Needless to say, I have been pulled over way too many times. I've gotten a lot better and wear my belt a lot more since my daughter was born though.
