Driving noise at 40000km

I seems my V is making a thump thump noise almost like a tire slap or a cv boot noise that speeds up as I go faster and slows down as I go slower. No vibration or anything like that. It lessens or gets noisier depending on the ashphalt as well. Going to take it in to the dealer next week but anyone else experienced this? First problem I've had so far.

I haven't had it on the Versa but had something like it on another car and it was actually a bad tire. You might want to check them before running much at highway speed.

I had a similar problem last week on the way to work. I stopped by the side of the road and noticed a large balled up piece of electrical tape that had stuck to the tread of the tire and was flapping around.

Guess I need to be more careful when I clean up after a project, I must have rolled over it in my garage and it was just flapping on the tire.
