I would guess all your vac. lines and intercooler piping make sure everyhting is in working order. Change your oil and check your plugs and wires. An airfilter can't hurt. Tire pressure not only on the four on the ground but also your spare, be sure not to inflate them to like 40lbs I think 240's pressure should be like 28 or so. Overinflation can lead to premature tire wear and blow outs. That all I can think of.

Bring tools, a jack, zipties.. spare parts, etc.

I always carry my stock intake pipe with me just in case I need to go NA on the fly.

I hate to nit pick, but this is a pet peeve of mine. It's called Duct Tape. Used to secure A/C and heater ducts. Funny thing is I just saw a brand of duct tape that is called Duck Tape. Kinda funny.

Either way, I couldn't help it as my dad installs air conditioning in homes for a living so I had to.

I know the proper spelling. I was being funny:) By the way I had to use duct tape to fix my master cylinder resevoir after the turbo melted it. I was 50 miles from home. Diet Coke can and duct tape and I was on my way.

Your sig states that you miss your KA-T. Can you tell me a little of what you miss and why, seeing now that you have an sr? Just curious to know from someone who's had both engines. Sorry to thread jack

Take a qt of oil, brake fluid and some tape.Always use the tape to make new vaccum lines. Take a mechanic's set Like craftsman 133 piece set. Maybe extra set of plugs. Jug of water for radiator/Or take cooler and you can use the melted ice.

Its not that big of a deal. I live in TX and have driven my KA-T twice to NY. One time I stopped by a friend's house, Joel Burke, and we went racing that night. Then I headed to NY that next morning. I've driven the car to ATL 3 times driving an average of 110 for most of the trip. (Don't recommend that though because engine stays to high RPMs for too long a duration(13hrs). But my car was fine.

Good Luck to you!
