Well I went on vacation to the Gaspe region here in Quebec for a week and a half (its 900kms from here) and decided to drive the 240 down. Well about 200kms from my destination the gasket between my manifold and the turbo blows out on me. Made it the rest of the way with a major lack of power. Ordered a new gasket from the only Nissan dealer in the region, aboot 4 hours away and they threw it on a bus to deliver it to me. Then I had to figure out a way to replace it without the proper tools. So I get the damned thing replaced and drive around for a few days without any problems. Boost was kicking in around 2200rpms, as opposed to the 3000rpms since the swap. I was in heaven. Then yesterday morning i leave Gaspe on my 10 hour trek back to Montreal. I get about 10kms from my grandparents house when I see a huge plume of smoke coming from the back of my car. So I pull over and look underneath and see oil pissing out from the oil return line/hose. I walked about a kilometer to the nearest house and luckily someone was awake to call me a tow truck (it was 5:45 AM). Had it towed and had to wait until 8am for the mechanic to arrive. Got it all fixed and got back on the road. The whole ordeal let me get a good feel for the CA, problems aside. In retrospect it wasn't the best idea seeing its only been a month since I got it running and anything could have happened out in the boonies but it was a good test/ break-in for it.
Im done my rant/ story now.
