For swapping in the LSD, I have no idea. How similar are the transmissions for a FWD VG30 or VE30 to a CA18? As for swapping a CA18DE(T) into a B12, it should not be the slightest bit difficult. Since the 1987-1988 Nissan Pulsar NX SE KN13 (same engine bay as B12) came with a CA18DE; all you need is a donor vehicle. You will need: ECU, engine wiring harness, engine, transmission, hydraulic clutch reservoir, hydraulic clutch master cylinder, hydraulic clutch slave cylinder, engine mounts (should be the same, but just in case they are not), half-shafts, CV axles, and hubs. In terms of a CA18DET (formerly RWD application), just modify the DET harness into the DE harness, and use a FWD transmission. You will need to make room for the turbo manifold and turbo, as well as the intercooler. I also forgot about the fuel pump; you will need a better one, for sure. Perhaps a Walbro? They seem to be quite easy to install in B12-B14s.
