Driveshafts and Transmissions: S13 vs S14

I'm trying to put an S14 manual non-abs transmission into my 91 S13 (non-abs manual). I also want to get a stock VLSD to replace my LSD...

both my S13 driveshaft and a 96 non-abs driveshaft were slightly too long to fit between the S14 transmission and my current LSD...

also, the S14 driveshaft is laid out differently from the S13 driveshaft, a bearing is flipped from in front of a U-joint to behind it...

So my question is this: what stock nissan driveshaft can I get that will fit under my S13 and won't be too long to go between the S14 transmission and a VLSD? I heard the VLSD's sometimes have a bit longer snout because of an ABS sensor built-in...

If you or using both none abs driveshafts in a diff with the abs ring in the frt. of the diff than you need the abs driveshaft.

Is the S14 transmission longer than the S13 transmission though? It looked like there was a ring around the hole on the S14 transmission, and the shop said that the S13 driveshaft wouldn't fit in the hole with that ring around the transmission hole...

Are you familiar with differences between S13/S14 trannies and driveshafts?
