Alright, im putting in my ca and after getting it all in, i go to put in the driveshaft, and it wont work. After checking the FSM mine is different from that one because in the front (where it hits the transmission) i have sever bolts in a circle vs. a telescoping piece. The bolts rub on the little cup when fully inserted and it still is too long to match with the cross piece and the rear diff (s13 LSD). Am i doing something wrong or do i need a new one... BTW this is off a 93 se hatchback 240.

my CA driveshaft was a little different looking, so i used it, but i dont think there should be that big a difference. i think you might need a different driveshaft for that differential though (my best guess). hopefully someone smart can answer your questions.

yeah..that too. or you can (if you have it) use the ca driveshaft or use the front half of the ca shaft on the ka one. either of those would work too.

any job can be done with equal amounts of stupidity and brute force. if one doesnt work, increase the other and keep doing so until the project is finished or completely destroyed.

the proper way is through the fill plug hole, and with the transmission in-car and level to fill until it just reaches the fill hole I think, look at page MA-21 in the FSM..

Its 1000000x easier thru the shifter. If youve taken the shifter off as many times as I have, it takes me all of 5 second to remove.

As for the transmission, you can remove the cup also.

Why do you NEED one... i would just think it does al ittle bit of protecting the driveshaft... i would give you mine but i cut it to pieces before realizing how easy it came out :)

Lol, yeah i just tore mine out, now if you stick the driveshaft in too far it will hit but when you connect the rear to the diff it pulls it out about an inch from touching so its all good.

Well it was more like take a hammer and pop the back of the cup (aiming away from the transmission) off so that the driveshaft can go in as much as it needs to.
