Help I,m new 1st question hope i'm doing it right. Have a 96 240sx 145000km. Was told that I need to replace the u-joints. also told by another that the u-joints are not meant to be replaced and I should buy the whole driveshaft with new ones. They are staked u-joints. Got a price for replacing with me bringing the whole driveshaft's (2 piece) to the driveshaft shop of $350 including 3 u-joints and balance shaft. Don't know if I should do this or buy all new assembly. Also should I change to a one piece instead of the original 2 piece. Thanks for any help

Depends on what kind of guarantee the shop gives on the rebuild. No reason why it shouldn't be done that I can see.
