Hey, all. I have a NA car that's getting a TT swap. I know that the automatic NA's have a different driveshaft length than the automatic TT's. My questions is this: is the automatic NA shaft length the same as the TT manual or do I need to get a different shaft? Thanks.

even more fun the diff end is different on n/a vs turbo, so you'll need a 5 speed shaft for an n/a, or a tt 5 speed shaft with matching the pinion flange fro the diff

The N/A and TT have different differentials. And I couldn't imagine an automatic N/A shaft to be the same size as a manual TT shaft.

I might get surprised. When I get to the point of swapping the engine, I'll test the shaft. I'll let everyone know when it goes in if there's interest in the subject...
