Wait, wait, wait, you mean you don't have an FSM ???

AND YOU'RE DOING A SWAP???WITH AN ENGINE NOT AVAILABLE IN PRODUCTION VEHICLES IN THE USA?????????

If you've already started the swap, smack yourself and go out and buy a Haynes/Chiltons shop manual for the 240sx of the year you have and maybe even a skyline fsm. If you haven't started, just go out and buy a manual/s anyway.

You can learn a lot from a manual:)

The length depends on the crossmember/mounting kit that you used. What method did you use????

We have a custom one piece with our mounting kit as a option.

using the r33 cross member. putting the motor into an s13. My motor isnt here yet, but i would like to have the driveshaft made before it gets here.

using the r33 crossmember my driveshaft was 44.25" from the transmission seal to the diff. i would recommend waiting till you get the motor bolted in and measuring yourself though, it can be an expensive mistake. Should only take a driveshaft shop a day to get the new one made anyway.

Hi Mack,

Is the custom drive shaft with your mounting made for the S14 or S13. Also will it make any difference that i will use the R33 differential instead.... BTW is the R33 the same differential as in the 300zx?

Just got my '95 S14 this week-end to perform this swap.

I lost my measurment for the S14 drive shaft. I belive its just alittle bit longer; will get a 14 in to check it. The flange on the 33 and the 240 should be the same, but I have not personally checked it, If you have the 33 measurements send them and I will compair them..I think NIght said the 33 and the 14 are the same?????
