Alright, this is my first time removing my engine. The last thing I'm stuck on is disconnecting the driveshaft from the transmission. Am I supposed to remove the part with all the bolts or the part that is further along back. Some pics would be a plus.

when you pull out the driveshaft just take out the very back 4 bolts front your differential, then you can just slide the front part of the driveshaft out of the trans. see if that'll be enough to help you, sorry i dont have pics... but thats all it takes.

Unbolt the flange on your rear diff first (Also mark the location of the flange compared to the diff. before you unbolt it.) Next, unbolt the center bearing from the underbody, and just pull the driveshaft out of the transmission. Place a pan beneath the *** end of the transmission, because fluid will come out even if you drain the transmission.

Drain the fluid first just to do it more cleanly.

if you have a two piece you can ondo the four bolts in the middle. be sure to mark the flange so that you can put it back the way it was. once you pull it the fluid will drain so have a pan ready.
